    The following towns are featured: this map gives Southern Coastal Holland at the end of the 17th century. It is quite topical. In this part of Holland the waterways of Delfland Schieland and Holland were responsible for water management and care of the river and sea dikes. To perform the management task, detailed overview maps were very important.
