    Old China Map - Hong Kong Mapbook Picture - Van Meurs 1670 - This is an exquisite full-color Reproduction printed on high-quality gloss paper, art paper or canvas.
    The following towns are featured: published by Olfert Dapper in 1663 after a large number of books. He wrote a history of the city of Amsterdam and took care of the first Dutch translation of Herodotus. However, he is best known for his many descriptions of foreign countries, which he compiled from various sources, without having ever seen the countries he wrote about. This cityscape on Hochsieu comes from a description of the Chinese empire. The publisher of this book, Jacob van Meurs, was also an engraver. However, it is not certain whether he was the engraver or not.
