    The following towns are featured: a handwritten map from the area where the Mississippi & Ohio Rivers converge in Missouri, the desription of how the distance was calculated, is signed by J. C. Landmarks on the journey include Fort Gibson and Union Mission, where the Arkansas, Grand River, and Vasdigris River converge. The Missouri River, along with Osage are shown as they converge into the Kansas River to form the Missoouri River. North & South Bend of the Arkansas River are noted as stopping points on the trail. They traveled along hte Sabine River, as well as the Simmaron Creek and River, to the point where the Canadian River and Rio del Norte are near, and then down to Santa Fe.
